Maraetai Forest offers a range of MTB tracks, ranging from Grade 2 to Grade 5

PARK OPEN

The majority of tracks are typically suited for intermediate riders and above. The tracks range from flow trail (berms) to technical tracks (off camber, rooty, drops). Jumps are spread throughout some tracks.

 

Trail Status / Notices.

FOREST OPEN

The majority of the forest is closed on 6th April 2025 for the Dirty Du. The race is using the majority of the forest however the Rewa End - Rewa Gate to trig Road intersection (road to container) will not be in the race. However Screamers and Sweet Screams are out of bounds.

Every Tuesday is PCBC Academy. The forest will be full of kids so best avoid if you want an uninterrupted ride. The shuttle will also be operating for academy kids only every Tuesday, so the main road to the container will be closed to the public.

We have two entrances.

There is parking at the end of Okaroro Drive and some at the end of Rewa Road.
