An off road Duathlon for the running and biking enthusiast. Take up the challenge by doing it by yourself or do it as a team. The coarse is mainly on formed bike tracks and forest roads. The run takes you on tracks that are out of bounds to runners outside of this event, it will be adventurous, challenging and stunning. The bike takes you on grade 3 and (easy 4) tracks, expect some decent elevation and some thrilling down. Its a race not to miss so get your entry in.

Race starts: 10 am.

Prize giving will be around 2 pm. Refreshments and BBQ available at the finish line and included in your entry fee.

Thinking about a sweet new bike? Well we have Mondraker coming to the forest on 12 October to demo their selection of Ebike and analogue bikes. Since they are here we may as well up the fun and show off our amazing new tracks with an open day - free shuttles and a bbq….whoop whoop!!

Arrive 30 minutes before your slot so they can set the bike up to you as well as fit your pedals. Please bring along your own pedals, they can take them off your bike for you if you bring it to the stand.

MYRIDE PCBC FUNDURO Saturday 2nd March

The PCBC Funduro is a fun Enduro event, where you have 3 hrs to complete 4 or 6 stages. You are only timed on each stage and you may repeat stages if you wish.

The 4 stage event is targeted at the younger riders and those less fit and will only use grade 3 tracks. The stage 4 event is only open to participants U18. Parents are welcome to ride with their children.

The 6 stage event will use grade 3 & 4 tracks. The siz stage is for 14 years and above and there is an ebike category.

4 - stage is $75 enter here

Includes timed race, BBQ during the event, pizza and refreshments after the event, chance to win some great spot prizes including a bike, cash prizes for overall place getters.

PCBC members get $20 off (code has been emailed). If you have just joined, please contact club for code.

Entered in the Funduro and want to do some practice laps? - no better way than by shuttle. You need to have entered and have a shuttle pass.

Meet at Rewa entrance by the see-saw at 5pm or meet in the forest at shuttle pick up at intersection to container.

Its the Annual PCBC No Excuses Working Bee!

The weather looks crap Friday/Saturday so too wet to ride, the 'Snow in May will never stay' so can't go skiing, kids sports are on Saturday and Mothers Day was last weekend so.......No Excuses !

A lot of gorse to clear so bring pruning saw, pole saw, brush cutter etc etc. Wear clothes and gloves to protect against the thorns! Free beer/fizz at the end !

A great event for the school aged kids. A 4 stage and a 6 stage option is available for years 7-13. Entries open….

The 4 stage trails selected are Stage 1: Ground Zero, Stage 2: Sweet As, Stage 3: Fools Gold, Stage 4: Tunnel Vision

The 6 stage trails are those above plus - Stage 5: Bazooka, Stage 6: Omni-C19

The tracks selected are subject to change depending on the weather/track conditions closer to the time.

Entered in the Auckland Schools Enduro or on the fence? Come and practice the stages the easy way - using the shuttle!! Shuttle leaves the see-saw at 9am, shuttles will run on the first hill between 9-10:30 am so you can practice Ground Zero and Bazooka (if arriving after after 9 am, shuttle pick up is by exit of Ground Zero). Between 10:30 and 11:30 the shuttle will be going up main hill to the container (pick up at bottom of the hill) to practice Boundary, Tunnel and Skinny Dipping (if practicing skinny dipping please look out for the shuttle). Free Event.

Shuttles this Sunday weather/track conditions permitting, starting a little later this week so ya’s can join the working bee before hand. Pick up at 1pm at Rewa Road gate or meet at shuttle pick. Purchase your shuttle passes through buy passes. If you are a non member you will also need to purchase a day pass.

There are a lot of trees down from the recent thinning of the gums on Dark Side and Gumsdrops (kids loop) tracks. All need clearing to make them rideable again. With a few crews working, we should be able to sort in a morning. Meet at gate or drive in (super slow) to poo ponds end of the forest (or bike/walk up from Okaroro road entrance).
